RV Vortex / RSV Semi Vortex Line

Line designed for pumping fluids with suspended solids

RV Vortex / RSV Semi Vortex Line

Raise the standard of your process with the Multisteel Recessed Impeller Centrifugal Pumps, from the RV (Vortex) and RSV (Semi Vortex) lines. Developed with cutting-edge technology for the effective pumping of complex fluids — including those with suspended solids, dense, abrasive and with gas. The RSV line redefines performance with its semi-recessed impeller (60% inside the casing), optimizing contact with the fluid to ensure superior performance. It is the ideal choice for demanding applications such as pumping paper stock, sludge and processes with large amounts of fibers.

With an innovative design, only a part of the flow passes through the impeller, reducing wear and allowing passage of solids with dimensions close to the outlet nozzle.

This feature enables pumping of solids without damaging them, allowing transport of materials such as corn, sludge (in processes that must preserve bacteria) and others.

The construction with slots on the flanges, instead of holes, allows the use of high-hardness materials such as ASTM A 532 CL III NiHard and ASTM A 743 CA40, ensuring greater wear resistance and longer pump life.

Available in several material options to meet the specific requirements of each pumped fluid, including ASTM A 743 CF8, CF3, CF8M, CF3M, ASTM A 743 GR CA15, GR CA40, GR CA6NM, gray cast iron ASTM A-48 CL30/CL35, ductile iron, ASTM A 532 CL III NiHard, among others.

Projects developed according to operational needs and the characteristics of the pumped fluid.

The recessed impeller, free of close clearances and with rear vanes, relieves axial thrust and protects the sealing chamber, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

With high flow capacity, up to 1,500 m³/h, they are ideal for meeting the demands of different industrial processes.

Ideal for demanding applications such as pumping paper stock, sludge and processes with a high volume of fibers.
