Multisteel's BPDS split case pump line was developed for applications requiring high flow rates, robustness, and complete operational reliability. Featuring horizontal construction, double suction, and bi-supported bearings, this equipment has been optimized for exceptional performance under the most severe conditions. Widely used in the sanitation sector, the BPDS is ideal for water intake, booster, and main water stations, operating with high efficiency at high flow rates. Due to its robustness, stability, and versatility, it also excels in the sugar-alcohol, chemical, and fire fighting sectors.

With horizontal flanges on the lower body, complete disassembly of the set is possible without having to dismantle the piping. This makes maintenance faster and simpler. With the sealing chamber aligned with the bearing, the assembly of bearings, mechanical seals, shaft and impellers can be carried out outside the pump. This approach speeds up the assembly process and simplifies installation, ensuring efficient operation from the start.

It is designed with a replaceable packing chamber, allowing exchange independent of the pump body. This feature makes maintenance more accessible and economical, preserving the investment in the long term.

In the pulp and paper industry, the line excels in pumping paper stock as a true mixing pump. Thanks to the offset-blade impeller, it does not only transport liquids, but also actively helps to homogenize the stock mixture. This innovative design provides a more uniform flow, drastically reducing hydraulic pulsation in the network and internal stresses, which ensures maximum operational stability and durability.

It is designed with center-line feet, providing a solid and stable base during installation. This reduces vibration and offers better support for the pump in operation, contributing to smoother and more efficient functioning.
